Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming two new primary care physicians to the health system’s First Physicians Group network and community: Nicholas Sakellarios, DO, and Bhavesh Shah, MD. Both physicians are now accepting new patients at the FPG practice in Waldemere Medical Plaza.

Sarasota Memorial welcomes gynecologic oncologist Toni Kilts, DO, to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network. Dr. Kilts specializes in the treatment of women with endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, gestational trophoblastic disease and complex surgical needs.

HealthFit Earns 'Medical Fitness Facility' Recertification

Radiation Oncology Center Built Around 'Hope'

“Hope” was the enduring message at the “Sign the Wall” event on the construction site of the Sarasota Memorial Radiation Oncology Center. Event guests — more than 60 local cancer patients, physicians, hospital leadership and staff, oncology team members, project contractors and other community members — inscribed their own messages of hope on the walls of what will be the center’s radiation vault.
