Sarasota Memorial surgeons have now performed more than 20,000 da Vinci robotic-assisted cases. SMH was the first hospital in Florida to acquire Intuitive Surgical’s first commercially available da Vinci S robot in 2006, and the health system continues to invest in these technologies that provide unparalleled precision in minimally-invasive surgical procedures.
