The medical staff of Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Sarasota campus recently honored 2 physicians for outstanding service to the hospital and the community and installed its new physician leaders for 2021-2022. Richard Brown, MD, medical director of our Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute, was awarded the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award, and hospitalist Faisal Keen, MD, was named 2021 Physician of the Year.

The 3-story pavilion will be built on the hospital’s Sarasota campus, with 4 inpatient units to serve different patient populations.
