Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Serving size: One 8-ounce smoothie

Total prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

¼ cup apple juice
¼ cup almond milk
¼ cup ice
½ banana
½ cup strawberries

Preparation:

Assemble all of the ingredients together in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve chilled, in a glass.

Other Tips:

  • Smoothies can be a great snack or a healthy way to start your day. 
  • You can use fresh or frozen fruit for this recipe. Frozen fruit will keep the smoothie cold and decrease the amount of fluids needed in the smoothie. 
  • You can also add your favorite protein powder or nut butter to the recipe to increase protein content.
