Join Sarasota Memorial’s physicians and healthcare professionals in HealthConnection. Located on the hospital’s first floor, HealthConnection is a welcoming community space that offers informative health and wellness events.

Diabetes Education

Join HealthConnection to learn about effectively managing both pre-diabetes and Type 2 diabetes. Led by SMH Diabetes Educator/Registered Nurse Linh Gordon, empower yourself with the most up-to-date information and latest strategies to reduce your risk or avoid complications. In short, learn how to control your diabetes and not let it control you!
