Sarasota Memorial Invests in Future Healthcare Access for One of Southwest Florida's Fastest-Growing Communities

Yesterday, the Sarasota County Public Hospital Board approved the purchase of 120 acres of undeveloped land along the SR64/I-75 corridor, one of Southwest Florida's fastest-growing communities. The critical growth project will allow Sarasota Memorial Health Care System (SMH) to better serve the four-county Suncoast region, which is expected to grow from approximately 1.2 million residents today to nearly 1.8 million over the next 25 years.
