This annual golf tournament benefits the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s Patricia S. Snyder Children’s Fund which pays for medical treatment and specialized equipment for ill children treated at SMH. Pat Snyder was the head nurse of the hospital’s Pediatric/Adolescent program. Following her death in 1997, her sons and the Healthcare Foundation established this special fund.
1965
