For many, that will be Sarasota Memorial’s freestanding ER off Toledo Blade Blvd. On Nov. 1, 2011, the North Port ER was officially recognized by the Joint Commission for offering the same caliber of care and protocols as Sarasota Memorial’s main campus ER – the only state-designated Comprehensive Stroke Center between Tampa/St. Petersburg and Naples. As such, Sarasota Memorial's North Port ER offers stroke patients the most advanced for even the most complex strokes. Learn more >>
