If you or a loved one has an ostomy, the Sarasota Memorial Outpatient Ostomy Clinic is here to provide the highest quality in specialized care, in addition to the resources, information, and support that empowers patients to care for themselves.

Learning to live with a stoma, even temporarily, can be difficult, uncomfortable, and even scary. Feelings of shame and embarrassment can make socializing difficult, and fears of an appliance malfunction can add stress to formerly routine activities.

That’s why our ostomy care specialists are here to assist in everything from stoma maintenance and skin care to dietary counseling and emotional support, while your body heals and adjusts.
