Join Sarasota Memorial’s physicians and healthcare professionals in HealthConnection. Located on the hospital’s first floor, HealthConnection is a welcoming community space that offers informative health and wellness events.

Diabetes Education

Join our SMH Diabetes Educator/Registered Nurse, Lea Ann Korkowski to learn about what is happening in your body and how your blood sugar levels can affect your overall health. Whether you are at risk, living with diabetes, or caring for someone who is, this session will help you better understand the importance of your A1C and why you may feel the way you do. We will discuss practical tools to better manage your health and prevent complications.
