ALS/MDA Clinic: Sarasota Memorial partners with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to provide multidisciplinary consultation, counseling, rehabilitation, treatment, case management and referral services for people affected by muscular dystrophies and neuromuscular disorders, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease), spinal muscular atrophies, genetic neuropathies, glycogen storage diseases and periodic paralysis.
