Sarasota Memorial celebrates the groundbreaking of a new oncology tower that will be the heart of SMH’s evolving Cancer Institute. City officials, the elected hospital board, hospital staff, representatives from the design/build team and members of neighborhood and patient advisory committees participated in the ceremony on the partially cleared site where the eight-story tower will be built.
