For everyone who needs them
North County Health Center is a not-for-profit
primary care practice, operated by Manatee County
Rural Health Services. The center provides primary
care to all patients, whether they are insured, pay out-of-pocket
or need financial assistance.
Appointments
Patients can call in advance to schedule an appointment,
however, walk-in patients are also welcome. If you are unable to
make your appointment or are running more than 15 minutes late, please
call us to reschedule your appointment. Appointments are required on Fridays.
For medical emergencies, please call 911.
Prescriptions
North County Health Center also offers on-site
pharmacy services and participates in
several federal programs providing discounted
medications.
Payment
Payment is expected at the time of service unless prior arrangements
have been made. The center accepts most major insurance plans, Medicaid, Medicare,
and HMOs. A sliding fee scale based on federal guidelines, using
family income and size, is available for people who qualify for financial
assistance. Financial counselors are available to assist in requests
for assistance.
