Infusion Nurses
Sarasota Memorial Home Care Registered nurses safely administer IV therapies, care for infusion lines and ports in the home. Being able to meet these needs in your home often shortens hospital stays. Working collaboratively with your physician, we can provide many types of infusion therapy, including:
- Antibiotic treatment
- Total Parenteral nutrition (TPN) - Method of supplying all nutritional needs by intravenous catheter Pain Management
Genitourinary (GU) Program
After prostate or bladder surgery patients are usually discharged from the hospital within 24 hours. Our skilled and specially trained nurses monitor you during the recuperative period, and teach you and your family signs and symptoms of post-op complications, and when to notify the nurse or physician.
Mother, Baby and Pediatric Nurses
Our specially trained nurses are equipped to meet the needs of patients from the post neonatal intensive care setting, pediatric setting and/ or mother’s with complication post cesarean section or gynecological procedures.
Home oxygen health teaching and monitoring
- Bilirubin blood draws
- Bili lights and bili blanket management
- Nebulizer treatment monitoring and management
- Hyper alimentation
- Medication administration via injections (IM, IV)
- Wound care

- Bladder Scans
- PT/INR Lab Draws
- Pulse Oximetry Monitoring
- Physician-specific protocols (customized treatment plans)
