healthgrades The federal government’s Hospital Compare website added an important new quality measure to help prospective patients compare hospital performance – the rate of central line-associated bloodstream infections — preventable infections that can lead to serious complications following a hospital procedure or stay. Venice Regional Medical Center and Manatee Memorial Hospital are rated at worse than the benchmark.
