Stroke Support Group
Sarasota Memorial’s Stroke Support Group is a friendly and informative forum that provides education, support and socializing opportunities for stroke survivors and their families. The group helps people affected by stroke work through the emotional challenges and recover their confidence and personality with the support of friends and loved ones. A separate family group meets during part of the stroke support session. Members of the hospital’s stroke team facilitate the group and offer clinical expertise and patient education.
When: Second Wednesday morning of every month from 10-11:30 a.m.
Where: The 4A-B meeting room at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Take the "B" elevators to the 4th floor. Follow signs to Windows Cafeteria. The conference room is just past the cafeteria on your right. Sessions, refreshments and valet parking are provided by Sarasota Memorial.
For information about this or other community education events, browse Sarasota Memorial’s online community calendar or call our HealthLine at (941) 917-7777.
