• Apr., 3, 11am-noon – Able Challengers: Adaptive equipment and resources to help people confined to wheelchairs or facing other mobility issues.
• Apr., 8, 10:45am-noon –Walk & Talk Book Club featuring a discussion of the book “Whole: Rethinking the Science of Nutrition” by T. Colin Campbell.
• Apr., 15, 9-10am – Chair Yoga: Free presentation by HealthFit on how to use chair support in traditional yoga to protect the lower back and joints. Participation encouraged!

March for Babies/Sarasota Memorial NICU Reunion
Join the SMH Babe Magnet team on Saturday, April 26, at JD Hamel Park and help the March of Dimes raise funds for important research and programs.

Immediately following the walk, all Sarasota Memorial NICU “graduates” and their families are invited to attend the NICU Reunion (9 am-noon) – enjoy refreshments and activities and visit with the physicians and nurses who cared for the “graduates.” The walk begins at 8 am (registration starts at 7 am) at the park (corner of Main St. & U.S. 41, Sarasota).

Medically Integrated Fitness Week
Visit Sarasota Memorial’s HealthFit April 28-30 for a series of free medically integrated fitness events, including a free lecture, Exercise is Medicine, noon-1 pm April 28; free smoothies and health assessments, 10 am-noon April 29; and a fitness competition 5-7 pm April 30.
