Anti-Coagulation Clinic Grand Opening
The public is invited to the grand opening of a new outpatient specialty clinic Sarasota Memorial is opening in the Kobernick Anchin retirement community. The anti-coagulation clinic will help people on blood thinners safely manage their medications, including Warfarin sodium, Coumadin and Jantoven, and increase the amount of time their blood tests (INR) remain in the appropriate range. The clinic is located in the Anchin Pavilion and will be open to residents and the public Thursday mornings. Appointments are required: (941) 917-8889. Caring for Grieving Children
Sarasota Memorial mental health experts and representatives from the local Loss, Grief & End of Life Coalition will host a free program designed to help caregivers and professionals in the field care for grieving children.The program is open to the public.
